Outlet Camp Wānaka is a scenic, eco-conscious campground set among kānuka bush with stunning lake and mountain views. The site combines natural simplicity with quality shared amenities and a relaxed, community-oriented atmosphere.

197 Outlet Road, Wanaka 9343, Otago, New Zealand. Nestled on the shores of Lake Wānaka and the Clutha/Mata‑au River, surrounded by native kānuka forest 

Operated seasonally (closed winter), the camp offers three accommodation types:

  • Powered sites $22 pp + $6 for power 
  • Unpowered tent/caravan sites $22 pp (same rates)
  • Cabins (six, 2–5 berths) from $130/night for two adults, +$20 per extra adult & $10 per child
  • Yurts (two 5 m, one 7 m) with private bathrooms/kitchenettes: $160–210/night (2-night minimum)

Shared amenities include kitchens, BBQs, bathrooms, laundry, and a lake-boat ramp. Pet-friendly on-site for campers; cabins/yurts exclude dogs .
