Description
Kiosk Creek is a scenic DOC conservation campsite nestled in a grassy clearing beneath towering mountains and its glacial moraine. Its small size and natural setting provide a peaceful experience just off the Milford Road, with plenty of space to breathe and scenic views at every turn.

About
Located on Milford Road (State Highway 94), about 63 km north of Te Anau, adjacent to Knobs Flat, in Te Rua‑o‑te‑Moko / Fiordland National Park. Access via gravel turn-off off SH94.
The campsite has 10 -15 unpowered tent or self-contained vehicle sites, first‑come-first‑served bookings via DOC's online system (bookings open now through mid-2026). Amenities include pit toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits. No drinking water available; either bring your own or collect from creek and boil. Access is gravel‑road, suitable for campervans albeit with slight slope.
